The Home Improvement Bug

Jim and I have been bit by the "Home Improvement" bug (and not the tv series... although we LOVE that too!) :) We've been doing some fun improvements on the house lately, with a big one to come. Since we've moved into this home, the first big thing we did was to replace our fence (which was in desperate need!). We've also replaced the carpets in the whole house, redone the guest bathroom, Jim replaced the sink in our master bathroom, this past weekend we did new light fixtures in our entry way and in the dining area, and likely either this weekend or next weekend we are having our kitchen countertops redone! Holy Renovation, Batman! In the kitchen, we're going from laminate to granite tiles. We already have the tiles for it all sitting in our kitchen and we are SOOO excited! Oh, and we're going to repaint the kitchen walls too to go better with the new look. Tonight we're going to get the paint and the new sink that will be going in, and we already have the new faucet fixture that will be going with the sink. It's going to look so great! Jim was the one who really wanted to do the kitchen, but now that we're into it, I'm so excited as well! I'll be sure to post some before and after pics when that all happens.
