Spring Means New Life

And this especially seems true on Easter weekend. What a precious gift the Atonement and Resurrection are because of what they mean for us all.
Well, as appropriate as the timing is... yesterday Jim and I discovered an empty nest on one of our utility boxes on the back of our house. I saw it and thought it was just so neat. About an hour later, Jim went back and lo and behold, there was now an egg in it. And today, as we've been out working in our yard, we saw the bird sitting on her nest, and when she flew away I saw that there are now two eggs in the nest. How precious life is. So here it is... our very own Easter symbol for 2008.
I hope your Easter Sunday is a great one.

How fun. Won't it be so so fun when Dixie is big enough to run around the yard and find all of those little treasures:) How cute will that be:) And how funny that they lay eggs at different times. I definitely pictured it being one of those get it done in one shot kinda things.

Those little baby eggs are cute. We found twin yolks in some eggs that we cracked. We posted some pics on our blog. Bradley is getting bigger so pretty soon they can start dating ;-)

So....I thought you were announcing you were bringing new life....silly me. Although I should warn that I am always the last to find out these things...so don't keep me in the dark when you guys really are.
