Our Sweet Summer Anne,You are growing so fast! It's hard to believe you're already two months old! And yet, it already feels like you've always been a part of our family. We love you so much!
You have started to smile at us, which is an immediate tug at the heart strings each time you do, and we can tell you're starting to recognize our faces when you're looking at us.
You're settling more into a predictable pattern: you're pretty calm and mellow throughout the day, and then you tend to get a little more attention-demanding in the evening... especially the last two hours before bed time when you want to be fed every half-hour or so! But a big trade off to this is that you have just started to sleep a solid six hours at night! Mommy is extremely grateful for this! :)
Your sister, Dixie, loves to come up to you and put her face right up to yours and say "Hi Summer!" and give you kisses on the top of your head. She also loves to steal your blankets from off of you when we're driving in the car. :) But she enjoys being your big sister.
You have beautiful eyes that we think are going to stay blue and everyone comments on just how gorgeous you are. :) You love being held, but are often content to just sit in your swing or car seat and take in the world around you. You are such a good baby and we are so blessed to have you as a part of our family.

Blue eyes?! When did those show up? They are gorgeous. What a precious little baby. Mom and I are starting to get ancy and are talking about when we could come out. You say the word and we'll make it happen:)
Time flies huh? I have been catching up on your posts and feel like you, that you drop off the face of the earth for a while when you get no sleep. It's hard for me to tell who she looks like. It seems like you've all adjusted pretty well though.
Ahh, our little Summer Anne is growing up...definitely a family resemblance, but her own unique little self. Miss those little girls! Your dinosaur cake is incredible...I agree...that deserves the "awesome aunt" award. Love ya!

What a sweet little thing!! I love that Robert's look--Dixie and Summer are definitely sisters and definitely your children! Can't wait to meet the little beauty!! In the mean time, keep us posted... :) By the way, your announcement is very adorable! I'm in love with the pics of Dixie giving loves to Summer. So, so precious! :)
