Dixie started taking piano lessons about 5 weeks ago and may I just say... she's got a knack for it! She has picked it up really quickly and just soaks up everything I teach her. Of course, we occasionally have our moments of argumentative debate when she's not quite sold on something I'm telling her or just plain old stubbornness kicks in and she wants to do something her way (I have NO idea where she gets that from!!), but all in all she is just loving it and frequently runs to the piano to practice her songs or make up one of her own. :)
I've already started slacking a bit in giving her her weekly lessons, but I'm just glad I can teach her at all and for the most part we're having some wonderful musical success. :) Keep It Up, Dixie!!

Oh my goodness...3 years old and learning to play the piano! You go Dixie Jean. Mark my word...she'll be composing by age 10:-) Love you Dixie!
