We started off with a little 'tailgate party' in the back of our car...
(Don't ask what's in Dixie's drink... I swear it's not spiked!) :)
Dixie loved running here there and everywhere to see all the different animals.
Summer took a little longer to warm up, but eventually braved an attempt at feeding the goats.

Having fun on some of the rides...
(I was very surprised that Summer was willing and even excited to go on the rides. We went to the Del Mar Fair while we were in California this summer and she wanted nothing to do with going on a ride! So this was a BIG improvement.)

And for the rodeo part, we got to watch some bull riding which was a lot of fun. None of the riders did very well, but we had fun watching the craziness. They even had some kids do their own version of bull riding by trying to ride little sheep. Too funny. :) Anyway, good times. Great memories. Something we'll have to do again someday.

when i saw pasadena in the post title i got excited because i thought you meant pasadena, california and that you were in the state. but then it made me sad that you meant texas.
