{Our 2012 Gingerbread House}
{Dixie had her Kindergarten class pet 'Coco the Monkey' for a weekend assignment, so Coco got to help too} :)
{We had our own monkey under the table too} :)
{And this monkey found a candy cane}
{Cute stinker} :)
{Such sweet girls for such a sweet house}
{Ta-Da! The finished masterpiece!}
{Santa Pancakes... with Coco the Monkey again :) }
{Going Caroling... Reindeer Style}
Our ward Christmas Party was going caroling to some Retirement Homes.
The girls dressed up reindeer style, and Dixie dressed Coco up as well. :)
Summer wanted a 'Coco' pet as well... Cheer Bear volunteered for the job. :) And then we had a Summer meltdown that resulted in Summer and I (and Austin by default) staying home and just sending Daddy and Dixie on to the party. Oh what fun it is to ride... :)
{Neighbor and Friends Gifts}
This is one of my favorite gifts we've given to friends so far...
{"We Whisk You A Merry Kiss-mas and a Happy Root Beer!"}
We only did two of them this year to people at Jim's work, but I think this will definitely be making a re-appearance this coming year, and in greater numbers. :)
{Christmas Day!}
Santa came bright and early, so obviously our day started quite early as well! But the kids thoroughly enjoyed watching Santa bring in his gifts for them. Summer was even brave enough to watch this year! (Last year she hid her face the whole time... terrified that Santa would see her!) :)
{The kids all in their Christmas Jammies}
{Austin actually woke up within just a few minutes of Santa leaving. Not bad timing!} :)
{Dixie's Haul: A LeapPad2 plus games, Dream Lites Pillow Pet, and Tinkerbell Movie: "Secret of the Wings", to name a few}
{Summer and her haul: Dream Lites, Baby Alive Walking Doll (really walks), Tinkerbell Movie: "The Great Escape"...}
{Austin with his cool toy walker...}
{Dixie also got a little sewing machine from Mommy and Daddy...}
It was a super fun and Merry Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed just being able to relax through the day and cherish the time with our little ones. Watching them is truly my greatest present every year. I love it. (Although I did score with some beautiful pearl earrings and a super nice necklace as well that I love! Thanks Honey!!) :)
{Bringing In The New Year}
And finally, we celebrated the New Year by taking down the old... :)
{Austin helped me take the lights off the tree}
And then partying it up with our little munchkins!
{Nothing like a little "semi-competitive" game of Sequence (for Kids) to liven things up.} :)
We got this game for the kids for Christmas and they love it... especially since they've seen Mommy and Daddy play the 'adult' version, so they feel so grown up that they can play this. I totally recommend. :)
We hope your holidays were just as fun and filled with precious memories to last a lifetime. :) Loves!
