Dixie is now 1 YEAR OLD!! Holy Cow! Can anyone else believe the year went by that quickly??! Anyway... we had a lovely and fun little party for her with some of our dearest friends from our ward. It had somewhat of a beachy-pool type theme to it... we had the little kiddy pool blown up and the little kids had a blast playing in it (including Dixie... she spent most of her time in the pool) :) and we had a delicious BBQ with hot dogs and hamburgers, chips, watermelon, etc. It was oh-so-tasty thanks to Jim's handy skills at the BBQ. And then we came in for cake and presents. And I tell ya what... This little girl is so loved and spoiled. She made out like a bandit. And she'll be adorably clothed for the next little while and have tons of new things to do to keep her entertained. Oh, but I have to note that the present that takes the cake is the one from her Daddy. He got her... her very own... authentic... straight from the South... belt buckle! :) :) :) It says "Dixie" on it and it is simply awesome. :) Good job Baby! :) But anyway, thanks to everyone for all your love and support! We love you so much. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIXIE!!

Oh my gosh...don't show that buckle to your brother, Mark!:-) But how fun...we're glad Dixie had a fun day, and I'm sure she's having even more fun today with the family. We sure miss you guys! And Debbie...the "flip flops" turned out way cute!!
