5 Months Gets You What?

5 Months gets you the cutest little girl this side of the Atlantic Ocean!

Summer is 5 months old now and growing so steady and strong! She has yet to roll over, but I don't mind sticking with only one mobile child for a while longer. :)

Summer, here are some of the big news from your month 5:

-We started feeding you cereal and you just LOVE it! You get so darn excited when you see that spoon headed your way. And you're very good at eating too, by the way. You mastered the skill quite quickly! You love your food, and I love that it keeps you full longer. Which leads to the next big news...

-You've started sleeping through the night!!! I can't tell you how happy this makes mommy and daddy! We are finally getting some good (well, better anyway) sleep at night. We all seem to be a lot happier now. :) (Editor's Note: I think I jinxed myself, because the very next night she woke up again in the night. Ugh! Hopefully it was a one-night fluke!) :)

-You've started playing in your little activity center. You're doing so well at controlling your body and hands while you sit in there. So cute.

-You love it when I pull your shirts off over your head. You giggle and kick your legs hysterically every time. :)

-For nap time, you like to fall to sleep in mommy's arms, all snuggled in tight, before you get put down to bed.

-You love to gnaw on anything you can get your hands on.

-You love your baths, but dislike getting dressed after your bath (which I find odd since you don't mind getting dressed at any other time).

-You will tolerate being on your tummy for only a little while before you want to either be put on your back or picked up. Tummy time is a rarity... which is probably why you haven't rolled over yet. :)

-You gurgle and giggle with glee. You have really started getting more vocal and chatty. :)

Sweet girl, you are still just as cute as can be. You are such a happy baby and we love you so much!
