This Christmas, I have been trying to lay aside a little bit of the perfectionist side of me and have been trying to let things go in order to have more fun with Dixie and getting her involved in the holiday. Case in point... the Christmas cookies. We made some sugar cookies the other night (drama for another day), and then yesterday Dixie and I got to decorate them. The perfectionist side of me wanted them to all look beautiful and elegant since these would be what we are taking to friends and neighbors. But I had to remind myself that it was important to let Dixie experience the holiday as well. So in a compromise, I frosted the cookies and then let Dixie have her rack to decorate. And she did a fabulous job! And let's be honest, who
wouldn't want a cookie overloaded with sprinkles?! The neighbors will
love them. :)
Dixie hard at work:
The finished goodies!
I got my own rack too. Is it just me or do those snowmen look like they're blind?
And let's not forget this little sweetie!...
It's hard to believe she's already 11 months old! Where has my baby gone?!

Deb, love the blind snowmen. They are adorable and so are your sweet girls.
I know what you mean about letting go a little to have them "help" you out. I think your cakes, cookies, cupcakes, anything you bake looks amazing. Keep up the good work with your business.
