Birthday Bash

Summer's birthday party was a lot of fun. We decided to have it in the evening because Jim had been planning to attend a scouting training earlier in the day, but that meant it would be dark at the time of the party, which would make it hard for the kids to play outside, so we would have a jam packed house. I was a little worried about that, but it ended up being just fine. *whew!* :)
We did sort of a 'winter' theme... for no other reason other than that it's winter time. :)
So we played a game called 'Build A Snowman': 3 teams of kids, 1 package of toilet paper per team, snowman accessories, ready-set-build! Our snowman models for the game included...
Paw-Paw Roberts

'Uncle' Steve

and our good pal Dack

They make such cute snowmen! :)

(I think this one turned into a "fairy" snowman. Sorry Steve. Nice wand.) :)

Savannah: "I love my snowman" :)
Presents...

A Snowman Cake...

 {Summer was ULTRA cute when everyone started singing 'Happy Birthday'. She just got the biggest smile and giggled the whole time. *So adorable.*}

 Make A Wish!

 And BLOW!

"Oops! I missed!" (Again... all giggles.) :)

SUCCESS! (Perhaps with a little help from Daddy.) :)

And a Snowball Pinata to finish the night off...
She'll go pro someday. Just not in baseball. :)

I made that pinata myself! Are you impressed? I was. :)

Claire.

Dixie.

Kaden brought down the house... well, the lights anyway... with his power swing! :)

And the slugger who did the snowball in? Heston! (Poor snowball didn't stand a chance!) :)

 Dig in!

"Watch out for the Snowball Monster!" (aka Josh)

Happy Birthday little girl! You are SO loved!
