Two Months And Counting...

I can't believe it's only been two months since my heart surgery! Wow. It feels like it was forever ago!
So anyway, I figured I'd give a quick update on my recovery. It is going so well that it's almost silly. Other than the scars and an occasional soreness (mainly to pressure), I'd never even know I had surgery! My energy levels are back up and I'm enjoying doing pretty much everything I was able to do before. I'm still a little cautious about over exerting myself, and occasionally I'm still uncomfortably aware of my heart beating (it thumps a little harder than it used to), and occasionally I still get a little lightheaded, but I just have to remind myself that I just had major surgery and it will still be a while before I'm completely back to normal. I guess it's just hard to remember that when everything else seems just like it was. :) But I'll count that as a blessing! So yes... we're doing good. And in the meantime, I've been hanging out with these two cuties and my family that I love!

Happy New Year Everybody!
