Christmas Cookies

We've been doing a 'Christmas Activity Advent Calendar Countdown' (holy long name!) with the girls as their countdown to Christmas. Each day they pick a slip of paper out of that days stocking and we do what is on the paper. Some days are things like 'Make Christmas Cookies', others are 'Watch a Christmas Movie with Hot Chocolate', 'Make Christmas Cards', 'Deliver Christmas Goodies' etc. It took a bit of prep work to try and make sure I had appropriate activities for the different days and didn't overwhelm myself at the same time. :) Occasionally I find myself sneaking into the stocking and changing what is written for the next day if it's something I don't think I can tackle. :) But it's been a lot of fun.
So here is the Christmas Cookie day... What is the winter season without a crazy batch of Christmas cookies, right?? :)
