Go Fish

Last night, Jim put the girls down to bed, I fed Austin and we put him down to bed, and then Jim and I were in the kitchen eating a piece of apple pie (made with apples from our own apple tree!) :) and we could hear the girls up giggling and chatting in their room. I wasn't worried about it and knew they'd eventually fall asleep, so I kept going on my nightly routine. Wash my face, brush my teeth... and as I'm brushing my teeth I figure I'll go see how the girls are doing. Walking down the hall I could see their flashlights were on and could still hear them laughing and chatting, so I snuck up real quietly to see what they were up to. I peeked my head around the corner into their room and saw Dixie sitting on Summer's bed. They had cards in their hands and Dixie asked Summer for a certain card to which Summer replied, "Nope. Go fish." They were playing Go Fish.

I about died laughing (although I held it in until I got to the kitchen so as not to tip them off that I had been watching and Jim could go see it too). :) It was too funny. I love those moments when they just enjoy being sisters and the time they have together. :) Sleep tight my little sweethearts.

OH I can only imagine how wonderfully satisfied that must feel. Good for you for letting them be playful little sisters!
