Anyway. Yes. Austin turned ONE last month (March 26th to be precise).
I
We invited family, our neighbors (Mark & Peggy), and two of our close family friends. So it was quaint but fun.
I decided to go 'monkey' themed... since we call Austin our little monkey (although I was definitely tempted to do a 'mustache/little man' theme with all those hilarious mustache ideas that are floating around the internet right now.) :) Anyway, here is a glimpse into our fun festivities...
{The Invitation...}
{Here's the birthday boy with his daddy!}
{Setup...}
{I kept the inside nice and simple, since we were basically keeping all the kids outside the whole time} :)
{We're so glad Gree-Gree and PawPaw could come!}
{I took this picture post facto (hence it's night time) but it's just another bit of the monkey factor, telling the kids where to go play} ;)
{Outdoor fun...}
{Banana Split Station...}
{Monkey Cupcakes...}
{And I've got some cute film footage of Austin smiling while we're singing 'Happy Bithday' to him and then him digging in to his cupcake, but it's not loading for some reason. But let me just tell ya... he dug into that cupcake like a pro! It started off as a total smashfest, and then he got a taste of the sweetness and then just shoved it in his mouth. :) Silly Monkey.}
{And a banana for all the monkeys who came to play...} :)
{And here's the party animal all ready for bed.}
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY LITTLE MONKEY!!
WE LOVE YOU!!!
