Last night I got to experience my very first Texas snow! Granted, I lived in Utah for nearly 10 years, so I'm no stranger to snow, but this was really fun. Very rarely does it snow here, so the excitement in the air when it actually
does snow is palpable. But the cutest part of last night... if you think
I was excited, you should have seen my big, Texan, shot puttin', football playin' husband as giddy as a school kid. He got the camera out and was taking pictures of everything that had snow on it. Then we had some hot chocolate and sat by the fire in the fireplace to warm our chilly little bodies back up. :) It was just a bummer that it happened late enough at night that Dixie didn't get to enjoy it... so she missed seeing her first snow, but we took lots of pictures for her to remember it by. :) (I know, I know... as if she even understands what all the excitement is about.)

Me in our front yard (like our cute sign? It was Jim's idea... he's so darn cute!)
My cute hubby (I'm obviously no good at getting the right angle in the picture to show the snow).

My car... and this is even after an initial wipedown in order to make a necessary snow ball! :)

Our house (like the star on the chimney? Again... Jim's doing. Did I mention that he's so darn cute???)

And I just love this. There's something completely ironic about a palm tree with snow on it. :)
Well, I hope you're all enjoying your Christmas season... no matter what the weather is like. As for us, "Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!" :) Loves!!!
