Santa's Missing A Few Reindeer...
We just got back the other night from a hunting trip out to west Texas with some of our good friends, Steve and Ashley. We stayed at Davy's ranch (Jim's brother) that he's got out there and were extremely grateful for the comfortable accommodations he provided us with (I and my 8 month pregnant belly were especially grateful!). The boys all did some hunting in the mornings and evenings while Ashley and I enjoyed playing with Dixie... and when all was said and done, Santa had 4 less deer to take care of (Jim got 3 and Steve got 1, plus a fox). We had a great time and Dixie was even a champ about the 6 hour drive each way (thanks to Steve and Ashley sacrificing their sanity in order to keep her entertained). :) But it was good to spend some time away from the city, just enjoying the peace that being out in nature brings. Good times and a lot of fun.

Oh how sad....I can't even put those cute deer with santa...that's so morbid... So are you guys having deer for Christmas??
Ps....how are you prego?? You are in the home stretch...I am very excited for you!!
Chad and I are going out to his grandparent's cabin the week after Christmas. His grandpa has some tags for elk and we're hoping to see some and shoot at least one!!! We didn't get a deer on the hunt this year and I love having the meat.
