Happy Birthday Dixie!

Two years. Sweet little Dixie Jean, it's been two years to the day since you came into our lives and joined our family. It has been amazing to watch you grow and learn each day of your life. You have become such a joyful, enthusiastic, energetic, adorable, funny, creative, and sweet little girl. You  have such an amazing spirit about you and I can't tell you how truly honored I feel that I get to be your mom... that I get to be the one who spends each day watching new insights light up your mind. That I get to be the one to wipe your tears when you're sad, that I get to be there for your smiles when you're glad. I cherish being able to spend each day with you--even the hard ones. :) I love spending time with an angel from heaven. You are such a light in Daddy's and my life. You bring such smiles to our faces and warmth to our souls. I feel my heart leap with joy each time you give me a precious hug, or sing a song with me, or just rest your head on my shoulder. I truly understand the quote by Elizabeth Stone: "Making the decision to have a child... is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body." Dixie, you mean the world to your Daddy and me. We are so blessed to have you as a part of our lives and our home! We love you more than you know. Happy 2nd Birthday Little Banub!
