I absolutely canNOT believe how quickly this year has flown by! But here it is, Summer is one and my little baby has transformed overnight into a little toddler. ...And on a side note: she just took her first solo steps today!! It was only two of them, and she hasn't done it again yet, but she's getting so close to walking! Okay. Back to the story:
Well, we kept her birthday pretty low key. We had a few friends over to join in the celebration with us: we had some cake and ice cream, opened some presents, and pretty much called it a night. But Summer sure enjoyed herself. :)

Great updates. It always makes me a little sad that we miss out on being at those significant events for your family...but I guess it makes us appreciate even more when we DO get to be with you:-) The cake is precious! Do you freehand the lettering? And where do you get your theme ideas? Soooo very impressive. Love you guys tons...
