After reading my last post, Jim felt a little sad... thinking that it sounded like he was a slacker husband who never helped out with the kids. Allow me to set the record straight. Jim is so amazing with helping out with the kiddos and giving me some me-time on a regular basis. I actually get one night each week all to myself where he stays home with the girls and I get to go do whatever I want, kid-free! I admit that I am a very lucky and spoiled wife! So when I said that the last time I was away from the kids like that was basically never, I meant as an extended/overnight deal. Which, by the way, I had a rather hard time being away from them overnight. It made me sad... especially since I knew Summer was having a hard time with it too. I'm pathetic, I know.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure Jim knows how much I really do appreciate his efforts, and that all of YOU know I have the best husband in the world! :) Thanks Hubby!!!
