6 Years Ago

Six years ago today I married my sweetheart, and every day since has been sweet and full of heart.

Six years ago today I married my other half, and ever since then my life has been whole.

Six years ago today I married my best friend, and have learned every day since then what a best friend truly is.

Six years ago today I married a Texan, and so today I spent my anniversary processing a deer. :)

Haha! :) Nothing says, "I love you" like a year supply of meat. :) (Okay, but really, we're putting off our celebrations until next weekend so Jim can take me to see the new Twilight movie that opens on Friday.) He loves me so much! :)

Six years. What a trip. I look back at the last six years and can't believe all that has happened in them. SURELY we've been married longer than just six years for everything to have taken place! And yet, I can't believe it's already been that long! It seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye.

I've spent some time today explaining to Dixie what an 'anniversary' is and how it was so important that mommy and daddy got married so we could have our family, and it's just made me reflect on how lucky I am in my life. Lucky to have found such an amazing, incredible, supportive, talented man (who was actually willing to marry me! ha!) :) and lucky to be blessed with two wonderful, sweet, precious little girls to love. Lucky to have come in and out of major surgery with my honey by my side, and lucky to be blessed with another child on the way. {What??! Yep... you heard the confession. We're expecting Baby #3 in April!}

I truly feel like I have the most blessed and wonderful life and all because of the man I am lucky enough to call Hubby. Thank you, Jim, for a wonderful life together. I cherish every day and love you even more.
